If the parts need to be painted before gluing now is not the time to rush things, be sure to paint as instructed. There are little areas that you just can’t get to once already glued.

However, instructions are always given in the manual, so be sure to go through it carefully. It is very important to paint the model before you apply decals. The decals present in your truck model kits should be cut out very carefully with the use of a hobby knife. You should leave a small border around each decal while cutting. If you drop the decal into a small warm water dish after cutting them it will help in releasing it off the paper background.

Putting the decals on properly is going to take two things, a pair of tweezers and some patience. Have fun with it though as this project will be rewarding. After you have placed the decal to your liking grab a dry paper towel and just dab carefully. Now there you have it, a finished product.
